hello friends! quite a bit has been going on in my life lately. i'm nearly halfway through with my junior yr of highschool. I am also taking this art class..wow i am learning so much! I'll be sure to scan some stuff I do so you can see how I'm doing

Also my sweet sixteen is in about 2 wks! On November 28 i will FINALLY be sixteen (i'm the last out of my group of friends to turn sixteen). This is a birthday i have long awaited but now i am not full of "birthday jitters". I suppose that is a part of growing up... I think the majority of gifts from the family is going to be money. Not like i'm complaining. I'm probably going to go buy my bass guitar (i finally am going to take the lessons i have dreamed of in a few wks!!)with that money and if i have any left over i'll buy a digital camera.

Highschool is nearly halfway done which means its time to get serious. I'm not going to be on here like every day the way i was in the summer or whenever i didn't have to "buckle down" but now i actually need to. Every week or so (like when something interesting comes up) I'll update this darn thing to keep you posted abt what's going on and my projects or whatever is up!

Before I forget I'd like to add this:

As you may or may not know (most likely not though @_@) my first love is writing. I love to write fiction, poetry, snippets of prose, whatever. (I bet you're like "No way, your grammar sucks, no way you can write well!". but online i don't care about my proper capitalization or if i miss an apostrophe here or there).
I'm more wary of posting my words on here. You can make a picture yours--watermark, signature, steal-proof or whatever. but words can be taken and re-written. re submitted. stolen. I don't want to take that risk. I am currently writing a story and the people i've shared it with think it's damn good. So yeah.

If i do post writing on here I either
1. Don't care too much about it.
2. I'll sneak some into a picture or something


in the meantime i will be deviating away from manga styled art (but that style got me into drawing! so not totally abandoning it) to see what else i can do. Taking the art class at school has opened my eyes to a new world out there, of possibilities that i had heard of but never truly been aware of...i need to step into that world and find my real potential.
